TRANSPORT CANADA's Advanced Licencing Reguirement
All UAV pilots seeking an ADVANCED OPERATIONS licence are required to participate in a two-step testing process. After obtaining a pass on Transport Canada's (TC) online exam, a demonstration of flight skills and knowledge requirements during a FLIGHT REVIEW is required.
It is only with a “pass” on both TC's online exam and the new FLIGHT REVIEW process that TC will issue a Drone/UAV licence.
MIR Aviations Flight Review's will be scheduled with the licencing applicant thru an online scheduler.(TBA) This process will begin mid MARCH 2019, weather permitting. Reviews are scheduled a short distance outside the City of Calgary, Alberta.
All Reviews will be preformed weather permitting and as per Transport Canada's directive. This is a demonstration of both learned knowledge and hands on proficiency. Do your homework - understand what Transport Canada is asking you to be evaluated on, prior to arriving for a Flight Review.
The Review is a Pass/Fail process. Each attempt requires a new review registration.
Requests for FLIGHT REVIEWS in alternate locations will be considered with minimum number of participants. Contact us at [email protected] for further details and/or questions prior to purchase.
