GENERAL - Aviation Ground School for Beginner RPAS Pilots looking to obtain Transport Canada's ADVANCED RPAS Pilot Licence.

COURSE DELIVERY The participant can choose between online course modules or a 4 day scheduled zoom classroom delivery (minimum six students required). Each mode of delivery will provide instructor support.
COURSE MATERIALS Included in the cost of the course is the "Canadian RPAS STUDY GUIDE - Basic and Advanced Pilot Operations" guide. Participant will receive downloadable print materials and access to multiple practise exams. Additional print materials such as ------ are available at checkout.

(BVLOS - Beyond Visual Line of Sight)
As our industry grows demands for new RPAS capabilities are increasing. Transport Canada's is considering BVLOS operations with RPAS under a specialized certificate. This four and a half day, virtual classroom course, will introduce the professionally licenced RPAS Pilot operators to the new opportunites and regulatory requirements to be considered with this service delivery.
You will examine a range of current systems designed for BVLOS flight. Lesson topics will range between Ground Station Interface design to GNSS limitations, and from auto pilot technology to safety management. Lessons also include the development of a SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment). Participants are introduced to the opportunities and constraints posed by unmanned operations, and by considering automation and autonomy, to the challengesfacing users and regulators alike. There will be a high level of focus on the Human Factors elements involved with flying BVLOS operations.

This BVOS (beyond Visual Line of Sight) virtual 36 hour course is delivered Monday to Thursday 8am-3:30pm and a half day on Friday.

"HUMAN FACTORS" is the study of human error. This Crew Resource Mangaement (CRM) Training is designed to address the human factors for the RPAS Crew, the specific challenges they may face and the typical errors that may occur in RPAS Operations.
CRM training and Human Factor training are used extensively in the traditional Aviation industry primarily to mitigate risk with a constant focus on industry safety. This is the foundation and material for this program.

What is a Safety Management System and why do you need one.
Our course is essential in taking you RPAS operational to the highest competive edge allowing you to be considered for bidding on lucrative corporate contracts. Our course is in compliance with Transport Canada, ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS). The class fully trains safety professionals in all of the fundamentals of SMS theory and practice, providing them the skills to lead the implement within their own organization.
We present the current leading views of the global industry in SMS practices, and supplement with insight gained from real life experiences working with numerous SMS implementations.
The course participants learn via a ZOOM classroom experience working through specially designed class excercises that demonstrate key SMS principles and then identify possiblereal working practices.
This 3 day course covers Safety culture, Human Factors, Human Error, SMS Requirements, SMS Policy, Organizational Structure and Responsibilities, Safety Risk Management Safety Assurance, Safety Promotion, Training and Steps for Implementation.
